Critical Care Service

Our initial diagnosis and estimate is always free. This includes consultation/discussion of the issue and quick bench connection / testing of the unit. Repair or upgrade parts not included in this price. ++

In-Office Critical Care (^$49.00 typical, ^$98.00 maximum)

Includes initial diagnosis and repair, in our office, of:

One Windows-based personal computer
Repair all operating systems issues including blue screen, and boot issues
Complete removal of all malware using industry-standard malware-removal tools
Apply all available operating system critical updates
Perform complete system optimization (pagefile and startup applications)
Test system for error-free booting and functionality
Suggest additional hardware or software needs to get the most out of the PC (additional costs may be incurred)

After the first hour, billing is done in .25 (quarter hour) increments at the rate of ^$14 per qtr hr. Repair/upgrade parts or additional software not included in this price. Total price not to exceed ^$98 per PC. Depending on the severity of the infection, the Doctor might recommend a operating system reinstall if the PC is deemed irrecoverable from a virus infection ++

Physical Home/Business Critical Care (^$98.00 typical, ^$147.00 maximum) %%

Includes initial diagnosis and repair, at your home or office, of:

One Windows-based personal computer
Repair all operating systems issues including blue screen, and boot issues
Complete removal of all malware using industry-standard malware-removal tools
Apply all available operating system critical updates (if high speed data connection is available. Otherwise, all available service packs will be applied and automatic updates will be turned on for downloading and installation as time warrants)
Perform complete system optimization (pagefile and startup applications)
Test system for error-free booting and functionality
Suggest additional hardware or software needs to get the most out of the PC (additional costs may be incurred)

$29.00 Physical Home or Business Travel Charge
All physical home or business visits will incur this charge 'in addition' to the standard service charges if the total mileage exceeds 20 miles round trip.

Other In-Office Visit Support Options

^$75.00 Emergency Room Service
You go to the front of the line with this added service. If you are unable to wait the standard turn-around time for repairs to your system, we can 'drop everything' and take care of you. This service is 'in addition' to the standard repair cost. Repair or upgrade parts not included in this price. ++

^$75.00 Windows Installation / Reinstall
This service included the installation or reinstallation of your Windows operating system. You must have your original CD/DVD and Product Key or your rescue disks that came with your computer, no exceptions. Price reflected does not include special configuration or additional setup of printers, scanners or other attached devices. During a reinstall data loss is possible therefore the customer is responsible for backup or all data before work can begin.

Virtual House Call Pricing

Includes initial diagnosis and/or repair (up to 1 hour) across the Internet using our secure remote control solution. After the first hour, billing is done in .25 (quarter hour) increments at the rate of ^$14 per qtr hr. Repair/upgrade parts or additional software not included in this price. ++

^$75.00 Network Service Charge
Includes initial diagnosis and/or repair (up to 1 hour) of the clients wired or wireless network. ^$65/hr thereafter. Material, repair or upgrade parts not included in this price. ++

^$49.00 Wireless Network Security Assessment
The Doctor will assess your wireless network (up to 1 hour) and make recommendations and changes to assure that your network is not being used by your neighbors or others without your permission. ^$40/hr thereafter. Material, repair or upgrade parts not included in this price. ++

Your PC Doctor recommends the following minimum system specifications:

Windows XP: 512mb RAM, 40gb hard drive, DVD burner, Carbonite Online Backup
Windows Vista: 2gb RAM, 120gb hard drive, DVD burner, Carbonite Online Backup
