"My computer was really acting strange. I was getting dozens of pop up messages when I tried to use the web browser. I had YourPCDoctor connect to my computer online and and they found it was loaded with spyware and adware. It turns out my son had downloaded and installed some type of file-sharing program and was downloading and running things he shouldn't be. "We had a hard drive failure on our RAID array on our main SQL server. When I pulled the hot-swappable drive and replaced it, the second of the three drive array failed before I could rebuild the array from parity. A freak occurrence, but it can and does happen. I was between a rock and a hard place, since our customized software vendor is based out of Pennsylvania and they originally set up our system.

I called in YourPCDoctor for some after-hours on-site work and they were able to reinstall the operating system, rebuild our RAID array and recover our databases from backup so we could work the next day. I can't express how grateful I was to see them show up and resolve my dilemma. As it turned out, the RAID array was made with three identical drives all from the same day or manufacture, a real no-no in the RAID world. I called Dell and gave them a piece of my mind. The RAID array is now created with drives from different manufacturing days."

"I always contact YourPCDoctor for any computer work for my Grapevine office. They are reasonably priced and quite capable. Most of the systems in my office are newer Dell's desktops or workstations, so I don't normally have PC hardware issues. When I need their services, it is for the occasional virus or for administration of our Exchange server since I am a small business and don't have a dedicated IT person (or budget) for that.

"I found it necessary to have YourPCDoctor connect to my PC across the Internet and get rid of the endless popup windows I was getting when I was trying to do business on eBay.

I filled out the service form and they contacted me by email as requested. They knew exactly what was wrong and arranged to connect after hours to fix it. The technician contacted me ahead of time and told me how to connect so he could begin control of my computer.

He spent about 45 minutes running various utilities and explaining what he was doing. I don't think I could recreate the things he did to fix it myself, but I am glad I don't have to because the next time I need help, I will contact YourPCDoctor and let them do their magic."
